Getting to Town

From Indianapolis

60 miles

Take I-65 S/I-70 W towards Louisville. Merge onto IN-46 W via exit 68 towards Nashville/Bloomington. At 16 miles turn right at the light onto Van Buren St./IN-135. The Playhouse will be on your left.

From Bloomington

19 miles

Head east on State Road 46/IN-46. At the traffic light in Nashville, stay straight to go onto Van Buren St/IN-135. The Playhouse will be on your left.

From Columbus, IN

18 miles

Head west on State Road 46/IN-46. At the traffic light in Nashville, bear right and get onto Van Buren St/IN-135. The Playhouse will be on your left.

From Louisville, KY

86 miles

Take I-65 N heading towards Indianapolis. Take the IN-46 exit 68 toward Nashville/Bloomington. At 16 miles turn right at the light onto Van Buren St./IN-135. The Playhouse will be on your left.

The Parking Situation

The Brown County Playhouse does not have a dedicated parking lot. Street parking can be found for free throughout the Village of Nashville. Free parking lots are located on West Washington Street, Pat Reilly Drive (behind the Subway restaurant), and on Old School Way near the public restroom building. Pay lots are scattered throughout Nashville; parking costs vary, usually starting at $4.

Accessibility

The Playhouse offers wheelchair and mobility seating, bookable as a Special Needs — Wheelchair and assistance needed ticket. Because of the building's original 1949 design there are only six such spaces, with a companion ticket available, so book early.
